Do you remember the time when I talk about my sketchbook? Yup, I used it to write down my inspiration in my head. I actually love something classic like drawing on a paper more than in my phone’s note application. And here’s my sketchbook, it is almost fulfilled by my sketches. Some of the pages are the idea of Mambruk Viktoria (design inspiration for Amica fashiondesigner competition). Pardon my bad sketch :)

Someone said that good food and good internet connection boost the mood. I can’t agree more of what he said, especially the internet thing. Lately, my internet connection keeps running very low, that’s why I keep complaining about that too. Even it affects my personal computer so it is broken now :< (yes because I knowledgeably acted like I were a geek pro and tried to fix the probs myself…) Hahaha but I still can connect my internet to laptop though, so I can post this post. Yes babe this is the face post, where else can you find any post like this, huh?

It was almost 3 a.m in the morning. but I still woke up and wrote this post.  I’m crazy about blogging. Lol. Nope. I just love to share what I have, like it is very amazing to see people happy when they receive my illustration gift. I’m not a pro. I just like to doodle. This is the post about the behind the scene work of mine and the unpublished one. I like to save my unfinished work and show it to people asking their opinion about it –yeah, unlike the other artisan, I think. Maybe, you can guess every person of each undone & raw illustration? RESTYLED MY STYLING

Hey guys, remember my sketch “Twinnie” in my previous post MY TOP NINE BIRTHDAY WISHLIST FROM ZOCKO? Yuppp.. I remade two of the illustrations from that post into an imaginary editorial shoots :) I imagined I were somewhere in France coffee shop, being a girl who sat, enjoying the ambience and busy parisian walking in front of me OR being somebody (imagining I were Karlie Kloss or Taylor Swift) who enjoyed walking in a cloudy day in Paris street with my best friend. I wish being here someday.

MY TOP NINE BIRTHDAY WISHLIST FROM ZOCKO

It is July, my birthday month, but I already have some stuffs I crave for my birthday. (It is still less more five months and counting). This is not random wishlist because the wishlist itself can be found in Zocko. “Tell me what Zocko is. What is Zockoooo???” Man come on?? Seriously you don’t know what Zocko is? Where have you been all this time? I wonder even people in Pluto knows about Zocko. Okay, quick explanation. 1. iPhone. Who’s not craving for an iPhone? It is very sophisticated, handy and almost can do everything. I don’t have one, but I wish I had!! I wish for iPhone 5 or 5s. (giving a code to Zocko :P) Btw, you can find the iPhone 5 White here at Zocko.

2. Bracelets. I go everywhere with my (many) bracelets and my watch. I need more and more bracelets. I found many cool bracelets including the Marc Jacobs’ Leather ID Bracelet and Kiel James Patrick’s Rope Anchor Bracelet. They’re really quite expensive but they are too pretty. Okay, save the money now for these babies!

3. Necklace. Beside the bracelets, I’m mad about necklaces. I have plenty of them and still feel hungry. You know what, I usually buy the necklaces somewhere far from my house but now there's a necklace named Lucky Necklace that is very affordable for me. In addition, it comes from a local e-commerce so it will be easier for me (& you) who especially live in Indonesia to get it in minutes!! (after paying it of course :P)

4. Watch. Watch is very important for me, for you too I know. Choosing the right watch is (in bahasa Indonesia we call it) “gampang gampang susah” or if we can force translating it as “easy easy difficult” yes haha.. It has to be accurate and stylish at the same time, don’t you agree? So, I choose the colorful one because all mine are in neutral color. It is Sky by Swatch. The colorful shade is not too bright and fits in any outfit.  Purrfectionn!

5. Batik Blouse. The next wishlist of mine is a Batik Blouse. I need this for me who like to attend to both of formal and casual event. In addition, it can be mixed and matched easily from feminine to edgy look. Do not believe me? Try this Blouse Batik Printing provided by Zocko... or you can try Zocko’s Vanila Peplum Blouse.

6. Docmart’s Boots. I always crave for Docmart’s shoes (yup, I don’t have ones). They’re really sexy because they fit in any look whether my outfit’s mood goes to pants or skirt. Color? Hmm.. 7. Sweatshirt. Jakarta is still in rainy season. There is big rain everywhere and we are completely freezing here. Sweatshirt is the answer. I’m craving for this Beard Latters Print Sweatshirt and the Volcano printed sweatshirt. Meanwhile, I still can wear it in dry season or summer because I’m sure it still can be a stylish item yet it is not so hot to be worn (so it doesn't make me sweating too much!).

8. Unique Cap. I don’t really need a cap now btw but Zocko has many hippie and cute caps to be bought. I pick this Haters Cap because it is simple but has deep meaning, rite? *brb diligently collecting rewards from Zocko to buy the cap*

9. Backpack. I need backpack so much, especially from Jansport and named Superbreak Cabana Backpack. It is really pretty and I think it can carry all my stuffs inside. I’m sure too that I can carry much compliments because of wearing this awesome bag. Don’t believe me again? Try to buy this one.

Yup, that’s it, my wishlist. I hope I can have them all in my birthday (or sooner I wish). I have to hurry on buying these stuffs or I know you will precede me instead hahaha… I have some tips too, if you like those stuffs above and have no clue how to wear them. Pink or red is always the color of Valentine’s day. I wear these color elements to the first and second styling. You can wear your dress and very cool Eiffel sweater (Oh… J’adoreee!!!). Put on the Mira Bag, the cap, and ankle strap sandals together. If you like to wear any additional accessories, the Jocel glasses are perfect. But make sure that you don’t cross your heart or stick a needle in your eye while wearing these glasses. Just… don’t.

METALLIC CRUSH TRILOGY - PART 2

I believe that every man is gifted but most people never open their package. (I tweeted it before -and it was me who said that- but someone quoted & credited it by unknown ahaha-). We can't blame people who just abandon their gift. They may not realize it yet or they let it closed because they have prior responsibilities due to their own life and just open another package. How about people who have opened their prizes? They should be thankful, of course, and use it wisely.

I think this quote merely sees another man's flaws than seeing one in ourselves. A proverb says that the grass is always greener on the other side. Nevertheless, it is not only the good thing in people that we see, but also their bad thing. We often think about someone else's life and forget to think over ourselves. The "every man is gifted but most people never open their package" quote perhaps also can be reviewed in another perspective: to look over ourselves. We all have talent so we can live our life thoroughly. We may be proud of it but we shall not be conceited. We shall keep looking for the potency that God gives to us to help other people. So, we maybe still have the biggest package in our life... and we just don't open it yet.

Yellooooww!! I’m sorry for being disappear for whole this time. Lol. A few months ago, I met a fashion editor from one of the most famous franchise magazine. It was very nice to met her and talked about the now trend. Cut it to the short, she wanted to see my styling portofolio based on that trend and to plan my desired photoshoot idea in less more 2 days. Sinceeeee I didn’t have any styling works but only my own designed-clothing ones, I just made it simple in power point from various high-street label I like.

The theme of the styling was about the sheen element. I mixed and matched the shiny elements, like the metallic and hologram material that I adoreeee so much. I made the concept that there were two women waiting the rains ended in the Jakarta’s street (because Jakarta was in rainy season). They would wear an icy make up and ponytail hair. They also would be captured in a shoot by the famous (and I love his work also) Glenn Prasetya. Are you curious about the models? They would be the gorgeous Marcella Tanaya and the edgy Drina Ciputra whom I love their oriental faces so much. 

Since it was a while ago, I remade it in different theme and portrayed it in fashion illustration. I find it very interesting. I wish I had Miranda Kerr’s body that fits in any kind of clothes and had plenty pretty wardrobes, I would make this blog becoming my everyday’s outfit diary. Hohohohoo~ Back to the reality, I only have illustration, so I can make every desiring outfit I want. I can have it all only in a picture! Fyi, the persons in the illustration were inspired by Marcella and Drina as well.
